MELBOURNE, Australia - Set in a little place called 'Tumbling Downs,' a fictitious world based from the author's first book of the same title, Marie Boyson returns to the world of children's fiction with "DR. FOWL AND HIS EVIL DEEDS"(published by Xlibris AU), this time, exploring the significance of differences and daring kids to celebrate their uniqueness.

In Tumbling Downs, Dr. Fowl sowed fear and evil among many. He is known to be responsible for the greatest misfortune of Mr. Brown, the adviser of Tumbling Downs. He is seen by the neighbors as cruel and unforgiving. In other parts of the town, there is Montebello and her friends. She yearns to become a ballerina. Ultimately, she doesn't become one, but she does came out as a world-renowned dancer. Pierre is Monte's brother who helps keep Tumbling Downs safe with the support of many friends.

Each unique character in the story and their struggles reflect the common and ordinary strife of daily life. Its thematic focus is on bullying and how it impacts those who have been subjected to it. It brings the story to a powerful conclusion, sending a strong message of encouragement to nourish one's uniqueness. Ultimately, it inspires young readers to find similarities in their individual differences.

"It is okay to be different," Boyson advises. "We don't have to all be the same or believe in the same things. Just be yourself and love who you are. Your respect and care for others are all that will ever truly matter."
