Counselor Steve Warner Pens Insightful New Book, ‘Milestones'

By:

"After 25 successful years as a counselor, I felt the gentle but persistent nudge of God to write down some of my hard-earned lessons," author Steve Warner explains. "Especially those that have an impact on our relationships with God and people." With his new book, "Milestones: On the Road Home" (published by WestBow Press), Warner offers a collection of reflections on living together in grace and truth.

Gleaned from Scripture, counseling experiences and real-life examples, "Milestones" is biblical, insightful and fiercely practical, offering guidance to challenge and encourage readers on their own road to intimacy with God and others.

The book contains a number of questions for reflection. Suggested prayers and identified "milestones" for each chapter bring the message home to readers' hearts.

An excerpt from "Milestones":

Our relationship with God challenges us equally. If we cannot love people - whom we can see - then we are hard-pressed to love God, whom we cannot see. When life fails to live up to our expectations - when we grow weary fighting against the currents of our nature or when human relationships knock the wind out of us - we struggle to feel the presence of God.
