Class Act Books Science Fiction Series Garners Award On February 21, the Paranormal Romance Guild announced the winners of its 2017 Reviewers Choice Awards, selecting the best books reviewed in the year in the categories of Science fiction/Fantasy, Horror, Anthologies, and Mystery.

Once again, Class Act Books author Toni V. Sweeney has garnered an award for her Science Fiction/Space Opera series. The Adventures of Sinbad, given third place as one of the best Science Fiction novels of 2017.

The story of the romance between a part-feline smuggler and a Terran Navajo girl and the adventures that follow has earned several awards. Various entries in the series have also been singled out for praise. In 2012, Sinbad's Last Voyage, Book 2 of The Adventures, was declared one of the top five novels of that year. The Adventures of Sinbad was previously named one of the top five series of 2014, with Book 6, Sinbad's War also being designated one of the top science fiction novels of that year. It also won third place in the 2012 novel writing contest sponsored by Critique my Novel.

Since the publication of her first novel in 1989, Toni divides her time between writing SF/Fantasy under her own name and romances under her pseudonym Icy Snow Blackstone. She currently has 54 published novels to her credit, which are featured on Amazon and Barnes & Noble websites.
