SYDNEY, Sept. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ Author Tanya Curran Brown is excited to announce the release of her new book, A Tale of Two Titties. Working as a master hairdresser in New South Wales, Ms. Brown learns that she has a very aggressive form of breast cancer. After some highly emotional soul-searching, she at last decides to undergo a double mastectomy.

In her book, the author uses somewhat outrageous humour to share her personal story of survival. Her book has been referred to as "gutsy" and "in-your-face" and it shines the light on the impact breast cancer has on its victims and their families using plenty of Aussie humour.

The author had this to say: "I realize that my story is somewhat irreverent, but this is how I chose to walk through the ordeal. I survived by not falling into the obvious trap of fear and by staying certain in my heart that I could overcome this killer who had come to snuff out my life all too soon. I had to live for me and my children."

A Tale of Two Titties is an engaging, funny and emotional read that aims to put a smile on the face of readers. Tanya hopes that sharing her journey will inspire other women who are walking through similar illnesses not to give up or give in, but to stand strong and refuse to relinquish their lives.

A Tale of Two Titties is being published by Love & Write Publishing and is on sale now at Amazon.com and many popular outlets for $24.99. It would be ideal for a mother's day gift or book club.
