Books-A-Million to Host Retired American Astronaut Scott Kelly for Two Book Signing Events in October

A veteran of four space flights, author Scott Kelly is teaming up with Books-A-Million to host two book signing events featuring his most recent book, "Endurance: A Year in Space, A Lifetime of Discovery." These events will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 2 p.m. at the Books-A-Million at 5000 Katy Mills Circle in Katy, Texas on and on Tuesday, October 31 at 7 p.m. at the Books-A-Million at 1910 Wells Road in Orange Park, Florida. All ticket holders and pre-purchasers will receive personalized copies of his new book at the events.

The American record holder for most consecutive days spent in space, Scott Kelly has experienced things very few have. How does it feel to be launched in a rocket? Kelly is a former military fighter pilot and test pilot, an engineer, a retired astronaut and a retired U.S. Navy captain. Kelly commanded the ISS on three expeditions and was a member of the yearlong mission to the ISS. In October 2015, he set the record for the total accumulated number of days spent in space, the single longest space mission by an American astronaut. He lives in Houston, Texas.
