Book Explains Change of Sabbath Day With over 30 years' experience of studying and teaching the truth of God's word, Penton C. Lewis felt a strong desire to share the significance involving Jesus Christ's atoning work, and the blessings he provided and found in the "First Day Sabbath." With this, he penned The Lord's Day: Miracle of the First Day Sabbath (published by Xlibris), a book containing biblical facts involving the changing of the Christian's day of worshiping from the seventh day to the first day.

"The Lord's Day: Miracle of the First Day Sabbath" is a comprehensive study containing detailed biblical evidence supporting the New Testament's account regarding the changing of the seventh day Sabbath to the first day of the week. The book is easy to read and filled with hundreds of Biblical passages that are written out for the reader's convenience. The book is designed to assist any that are confused or misguided, and it will also provide insight to those that are observing the first day Sabbath but are unaware of the Biblical facts involved. The book also contains an additional study of the Holy Trinity.

"The relevancy of scripture is eternal, and it involves the timeless facts pertaining to the will and purpose of God, which is relevant not only in this modern-day society but in the generations to come," Lewis expresses. "I guarantee any individual that reads this book will definitely not be bored, but surprisingly entranced with the biblical facts presented, and it's also good reading for any ages from ages 10 to 90."

Penton C. Lewis is a retired real estate specialist employed by the Redevelopment Authority for 13 years. His interest in the Bible started in 1980, and he quickly developed into a strong desire to both read and study God's word, which later resulted in a position in the church as a Sunday school teacher and ushered him into a life occupied with the joy of teaching God's word. In 1986, he became part of a Bible teaching ministry at the Philadelphia Youth Study Center, which is a detention institution that housed juvenile youth offenders. For 16 years with joy, he gratefully taught the Bible to the young inmates.
