Best Selling Author Gary Phillips Releases The Extractors: A McBleak Novella

Publishing Company Stark Raving Group is pleased to announce that it will unveil a second previously unpublished novella by renowned crime fiction author Gary Phillips early this spring. The Extractors: A McBleak novella tells the tale of a "One percenter, who steals cash and items from his other one percenters," according to Phillips.

The release of The Extractors comes on the heels of the success of Phillips' first novella published through Stark Raving Group and currently available on the Bookxy site (http://www.bookxy.com); The Anti-Gravity Steal, which features a cover illustration by Adam Shaw. This time, The Extractors will feature artwork by renowned illustrator William Stout.

Phillips, critically acclaimed author of The Perpetrators (2002), Bangers (2003) and the seven books in the Ivan Monk and Martha Chainey series, has also contributed to and edited many short stories collections such as: The Cocaine Chronicles, Politics Noir, Orange County Noir, and The Darker Mask. Raised in South Central Los Angeles, Phillips grew up reading comics, classic pulp and detective fiction.
