Musical pairing is the art and science of selecting the right music to pair with the right meal. Barbara Werner is a modern-day Renaissance woman; a professionally-trained chef from a long line of Italian cooks, author of the children's book "The Magic Flower", and an audiophile who is skilled in bartending, fine scotch, and canine massage therapy. Her grandparents, aunts, and uncles owned a butcher shop in Mt. Vernon, NY and before she could tackle long division Werner was operating a slicing machine and a band saw. She was always interested in food and food preparation, and received her culinary training at SUNY Cobleskill in upstate New York. Ms. Werner is also licensed in manicuring and tattoo art, certified in reflexology, and the mother of a grown daughter.
