To look at them, you wouldn't guess they are twins. While Susan stands an impressive 6 feet tall, Norah-Jean is a modest five feet in her stocking feet.

Although the fraternal twins were born in Canada, the girls have spent their lives apart.

Susan has lived in Canada, the Midwest and on both U.S. coasts. She was an Operating Room Nurse assisting in hip replacements to open heart surgeries. As a traveler, she has experienced over 50 countries (still more to go). But being a Mum was her favorite job. Susan currently lives in Key West.

Norah-Jean has spent her working life in Ontario, Canada, as a newspaper reporter, freelance writer and editor, and fiction author. She has published five novels, Outrageous, Blue Dawn, Crazy in Chicago, Alien's Daughter and Night Secrets. Her inspiration has come from thrills and chills in places as far flung as Timbuktu, West Africa; Sydney, Australia, and down the street from the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Ontario. She has a loving husband, and three grown children who keep returning to the "empty nest" despite her best efforts to keep them away.

Blood Ties in Key West is a romantic suspense set at a local Key West bar. More than anything, bouncer Melissa (Mel) Saunders wants to provide a safe, stable home for her orphaned baby niece. But both her new job and her guardianship are threatened when she tosses a belligerent customer from the bar, only to have him shot and killed outside the building. To make matters worse, the murdered man turns out to be the brother of the bar's owner, Damien Flores.
