Tony Moore might not be a famous politician or a movie star but he is every bit of the word successful. In his new book, "One Of A Kind", he retraces the remarkable journey that brought him where he is and redefines the meaning of success along the way.

Moore was born in 1949 in Northampton, England. His mother died of tuberculosis when he was just four years old and this tragedy was just one of his many bouts with death and loss. This, however, did not stop Moore from pursuing his dreams. In his autobiography, he looks back on his life as it converged with a number of remarkable episodes in history and the lessons he learned.

From his years in an English boarding school to London in the swinging sixties, from surviving the throes of the London fashion and music scene to his pursuit of a career in engineering, Moore takes readers to all the colorful chapters in his life through well-told stories that will absorb with their truth and relevance to living and the universal need to find fulfillment. Ultimately, Moore's experiences taught him a very important truth. He says,

"I learned to take the risk, take a chance and just go ahead without fear... The question to ask ourselves is this; 'If you could change anything in your life what would you change?' Fifteen hundred retirees were asked that question and most answered very honestly, 'I wish I had taken more risks.' How sad that would be to realize that when it's too late to do anything about it."

An inspiring testimony of the indomitable human spirit, "One Of A Kind" tells a faithful story of life-in all its joys and absurdities- as it explores what it truly means to be successful.
