Felipe Tristán makes his debut with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra at the Bulgaria Concert Hall, conducting the opening gala of the Frequenza Festival. The program spans Beethoven's Triple Concerto to contemporary jazz works by Wayne Shorter and Cole Porter, reflecting the Monterrey-born conductor's range across musical styles. Tristán is joined by an international roster of soloists including trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov, pianist and Frequenza Festival Artistic Director Maria Meerovitch, violinist Barnabás Kelemen, cellist Boris Andrianov, jazz trumpeter Alex Sipiagin, and jazz pianist Misha Tsiganov, among others.
