MusicalFare Theatre announced today a grant award totaling $49,500 from the New York State Council on the Arts to support the recovery of the nonprofit arts and culture sector. Following New York State's $105 million investment in the arts for FY2022, NYSCA has awarded more than $80 million since June 2021. MusicalFare also received two NYSCA Rapid Live Performance Grants totaling $20,000 to support the first two productions in the Theatre's return to a full season on its Mainstage in 2021-22.
An all-new, re-conceived version of the Lerner and Loewe classic! In this award-winning, soaring musical, an idealistic young King Arthur hopes to create, 'for one brief shining moment,' a kingdom built on honor and dignity. But problems arise and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance. A story and production for our times.
MusicalFare Theatre, Western New York's most awarded and only professional musical theatre company, presents the 3rd production of its 2018-2019 Season, the Premiere Regional Production of RAGTIME.
