MusicalFare to Present ADRIFT IN MACAO, 4/23-5/25
MusicalFare Theatre presents the regional premiere of ADRIFT IN MACAO, a loving musical-comedy parody of film-noir. ADRIFT IN MACAO also marks the 150th production in MusicalFare's 24 year history.
Everyone that comes to Rick's Nightclub in Macao, China in 1952 is waiting for something, and though none of them know exactly what that is, they hang around to find out. Featuring hysterical quips and songs, puns and farcical shenanigans, the New York Times declared that "the gags come slathered in soy sauce" and called the show "an opportunity for laughs."
The MusicalFare cast includes Bethany Burrows, Kelly Copps, Steve Copps, Kay Kerimian, Nicholas Lama, Ben Puglisi and Marc Sacco. Set Design is by Chris Schenk, Lighting & Sound Design is by Chris Cavanagh, Costume Design is by Kari Drozd and Hair, Wig and Makeup Design is by Susan Drozd. The performance schedule is April 23rd - May 25th , Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00pm, Friday at 8:00pm, Saturday at 4:00pm and 8:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. There will be a special "half-price preview" on Tuesday, April 22nd at 7:00pm. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after all Wednesday performances EXCEPT opening night, April 23rd.Ticket prices:

MusicalFare Theatre is a professional musical theatre company in residence at, but independently operated from, Daemen College. MusicalFare Theatre is located at 4380 Main Street in Amherst, NY (between Harlem and Getzville Roads). Parking is FREE, and the theatre is handicapped accessible, complete with a hearing-impaired system.
