WET TUX Gets Red Carpet Screening At Film Noir Cinema Today

On Friday, June 15th at 8:00 pm, grace the soaking wet red carpet before heading into Film Noir Cinema in Greenpoint for the premiere of the Wet Tux, a 30-minute late night parody talk show.

Thomas Fricilone (Ground Floor Comedy co-founder) has created a sick and deranged world filled with cha-chas, talking plants, live music, and dystopian news reports with a cast including Adam Bangser, Kelly Cooper, Caitlin Dullea, Mac Edgerly, Rachel Kaly, Tim Lamphier, Ian Lockwood, and more.

To celebrate the premiere, the first hour of the event will include a red carpet cocktail hour with paparazzi included, and black tie recommended. Before the screening Ana Fabrega will start the night with an opening set, while commercials will be provided by Brooklyn comedy filmmakers Tynan Delong, Caroline Yost, Keaton Monger, Andrew Benedict, Colin Burgess, and Maya Sharma.

ABOUT WET TUX: Taking place in the year 2057 after a nuclear war decimates the Earth, the most skilled surviving humans are left to rebuild the world. The lesser skilled, known as the dregs, are asked to provide the entertainment. This is the mad, mad result.

Combining a Lynchian aesthetic with the absurd comedy of underground Brooklyn, Wet Tux aims to deliver the unexpected to a talk show format that has become all too commonly familiar.
