Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, or What You Will performed FREE in the streets of Park Slope, by South Brooklyn Shakespeare, as part of the neighborhood's series of Summer Strolls this weekend, July 23rd.

Featuring an Equity cast, amplification and 1940s film noir costumes, Twelfth Night is the 4th annual free Shakespeare in the streets production from South Brooklyn Shakespeare, a 501(c)(3).

Great Visuals along Park Slope Fifth Avenue from 12th-18th Streets:

- Outdoor Shakespeare performance with audience sitting in the street on folding chairs and blankets

- Eating and drinking outside from local restaurants

- Pop-up Park featuring dance and fitness classes & music

- Vintage Car Show

- Music and dancing in the streets

- Fun & Games for kids - jugglers, climbing wall, face painting

- FREE activities!!!

It all takes place on Saturday, July 23 - Summer Stroll 5pm-9pm; Twelfth Night starts at 6:30 pm. Twelfth Night - Fifth Avenue @ 18th Street, Park Slope and Summer Stroll festivities - Fifth Avenue between 12-18 Streets. Transportation: R to Prospect Avenue.

Please Note: Saturday is opening night of Twelfth Night. Additional performances are August 4, 5, 6 at The Old Stone House.

Four nights when a stretch of Brooklyn's Fifth Avenue closes to cars and opens for local fun and festivities, transforming Fifth Avenue into a big block party. All Summer Strolls feature food and drinks from local bars and restaurants served open air, sales from local shops, live music and dancing in the streets, vintage car show, street yoga, giant rock climbing wall, bouncy house, mini golf, photo booth and a new pop-up park-in-the-street (a turf lawn 79-feet long that will be unrolled on the street).

Summer Strolls are sponsored by the Park Slope Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District and the NYC D.O.T. as part of their Weekend Walks program.

Founded in January of 2009, the Park Slope Fifth Avenue B.I.D. represents a dynamic commercial and residential corridor whose borders stretch 30 blocks from Dean to 18th Street in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn.
