Rabbit Hole Theatricks to Premiere Children's Musical SUPERBUNNY MEETS THE MUMMY

By:

Rabbit Hole Theatricks is about to premiere their fifth new children's musical called Superbunny Meets the Mummy, the fourth installment in the Superbunny catalog, while at the same time Rob Martin Productions of New Zealand is currently in rehearsal and preparing an international tour of both New Zealand and Australia of Rabbit Hole's second children's musical, A Cow Named Cow.

Performances of Superbunny Meets the Mummy are at the Actors Fund Arts Center on October 29th at 2:30 pm and October 30th at 10:30 am. It is based on the award-winning children's book series Thumperino Superbunny by Amber L. Spradlin. Rob Martin Productions has taken an interest in all four of the Superbunny musicals and plans to bring them to New Zealand after their production of A Cow Named Cow.

Superbunny Meets the Mummy opens with a simple visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art but, as usual, chaos ensues when Superbunny becomes an eyewitness to an art heist and gets wrapped up in the villain's plot to awaken the curse of the mummy. Children can help solve the mystery by joining the actors onstage for The Mummy Dance. Admission is FREE and all are encouraged to come wearing a Halloween costume.

Book and lyrics are by Michael Mackenzie Wills (Superbunny Musicals & A Cow Named Cow), music by John Edward Ross (Superbunny Meets the Mummy), choreography by J. Joseph Burke (A Superbunny Christmas), with music direction by C. Colby Sachs (composer of A Cow Named Cow). Superbunny Meets the Mummy stars Erik Jonathan Shuler (Thumperino Superbunny), Inuka Ivaska (Veronica), Stephan Amenta (Professor Lemongrass), and Matt Haas (Mysterious Man).

Superbunny Meets the Mummy is produced by Rabbit Hole Theatricks, a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization that offers all of their shows free, or low cost, to everyone. Their mission is to entertain, inform, and educate, thereby enriching the cultural life of each audience member. Through humor, they bring the classics (and new works) to young and seasoned audiences alike in an effort to reduce, and possibly reverse, the dumbing down of America.

Dates & times for Superbunny Meets the Mummy are Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on October 29th and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on October 30th. Free performances at The Actors Fund Arts Center, 160 Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (Located between Smith and Hoyt Streets)
