Kendra Black Comes to The Knitting Factory
NYC-Based pop artist, Kendra Black is set to perform July 2nd at Knitting Factory. The show will have special guest Simple Lovers, Thalib, Vaesa Black, Luana Joy, and Julio Caezar. Black will be performing tracks of her latest EP, The Edge, like her hit singles "Rude" featuring Snoop Dogg and "Air Pack Jet". She will also perform her newest single, "Dangerless" which introduces a new sultry sound.
Black has performed on stages in France, Monte-Carlo, Italy, Egypt, the Caribbean, and the US. Some her most recent performances were headlining at Webster Hall Studio in NYC, which was hosted by Hot 97's Laura Stylez, Highline Ballroom, and wrapping up a Spring Tour. The Hot Zone USA described Black as "an up-and-comer to watch for," while AXS called her live performance "smoldering" and her voice "intoxicatingly sweet."
