As the resting place of many historical and influential Black Americans, The Green-wood Cemetery provides a glimpse at the rich Black history of New York City through Black in Brooklyn, a trolley tour dedicated to honoring Black History Month.

Visit the gravesites and learn about the lives of luminary figures such as artist Jean Michel Basquiat, Samuel Cornish-co-founder of Freedom's Journal, the first newspaper in America run by African Americans for African Americans, Abolitionist Abigail Hopper Gibbons who ran a stop on the Underground Railroad on 29th Street in Manhattan - and many more.

The Tour is scheduled for Saturday, February 26th at 10 am.
