Black In Brooklyn: The Green-Wood Cemetery's Black History Month Tour Announced
The Tour is scheduled for Saturday, February 26th at 10 am.

As the resting place of many historical and influential Black Americans, The Green-wood Cemetery provides a glimpse at the rich Black history of New York City through Black in Brooklyn, a trolley tour dedicated to honoring Black History Month.
Visit the gravesites and learn about the lives of luminary figures such as artist Jean Michel Basquiat, Samuel Cornish-co-founder of Freedom's Journal, the first newspaper in America run by African Americans for African Americans, Abolitionist Abigail Hopper Gibbons who ran a stop on the Underground Railroad on 29th Street in Manhattan - and many more.
