The Heights Players is proud to present its first musical of its 61st season - the classic, quintessential backstage musical comedy, 42nd Street. This song-and-dance fable of Broadway with an American Dream story is the perfect ticket as the holiday season, and chilly weather, approaches. 42nd Street opens on November 4th and runs through November 20th.

This musical is a big celebration of Broadway, Times Square and the people who make the magic of musical theater, and who better to give you that than director James Martinelli, who directed last season's Mame, which "rocked the house?" 42nd Street is the story of aspiring chorus girl, Peggy Sawyer, who comes to the big city from Allentown, Pennsylvania, and soon lands her first big job in the ensemble of a glitzy new Broadway show - a show in a constant state of panic, lurching from one crisis to another. Just before opening night, the leading lady breaks her ankle. Will Broadway dreams come true for Peggy?
