A celebration of love, laughter, family and friendship, MAMMA MIA! brings the fun and joy the world needs right now.
Set on a Greek island paradise and inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson’s heart-warming tale centres around Sophie, a young bride-to-be. On the eve of her wedding, Sophie’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.
Lead by the divine Natalie O’Donnell (Les Misérables, MAMMA MIA!) as Donna and rising star Sarah Morrison (Ladies in Black) as Sophie, this extraordinary Australian cast features an absolute all-star line-up, including Alicia Gardiner (Offspring, MAMMA MIA!) and Jayde Westaby (The Rocky Horror Show, Jersey Boys) as the dynamic duo Rosie and Tanya, Ian Stenlake (Sea Patrol, Stingers), Josef Ber (Rush) and Phillip Lowe (Mary Poppins, Georgy Girl) as our possible fathers to the bride-to-be and Stephen Mahy (Jersey Boys, Grease) as Sky.
This brand new Australian production will be directed by Helpmann Award winner Gary Young, with a stellar creative team also including Choreographer Tom Hodgson, Musical Supervisor Stephen Amos, Set Design by Linda Bewick, Costume Design by Suzy Strout and Lighting Design by Gavan Swift and Sound Design by Michael Waters.
