Chris Botti Returning to QPAC in 2015
Multi Grammy Award winner and top-selling American instrumental artist, Chris Botti (pronounced Boat-ee) returns to Australia in 2015 for a limited number of exclusive performances including one night only in Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC) Concert Hall on Saturday 4 July.
With an impressive list of collaborators that reads like a who's who of the music superstars over the past 30 years, including Sting, Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga, Michael Bublé, Paul Simon, Andrea Bocelli, Steve Tyler and even Frank Sinatra to name only a few, Chris Botti's reputation and position as one of the world's most prolific trumpeters is easily understood.
Performing worldwide and selling more than four million albums, he has found a form of creative expression that begins in jazz and expands beyond the limits of any single genre including R&B, rock, bossa nova, funk and classical.
In this performance Chris Botti will present an evening to be remembered with performances from his Billboard-topping albums When I Fall In Love, Italia, Chris Botti in Boston, and Impressions.
Mark the Fourth of July to spend an evening with the virtuoso trumpeter and charming raconteur Chris Botti as he returns to QPAC's Concert Hall, after his acclaimed performance in March 2012. Tickets are now on sale. To book go to www.qpac.com.au or phone 136-246.
