Weston Friendly Society Announces Auditions For Thoroughly Modern Millie 1/10-11
Auditions for Thoroughly Modern Millie will take place at the Weston Town Hall on Monday, January 10th and Tuesday, January 11th, 2011 at 7PM, with callbacks on Wednesday, January 12th at 7 PM.
Singing Requirements: 32 bars of one up tempo piece that is not from Thoroughly Modern Millie. The piece must be a musical theater song (no pop music, for example).
Dance: Short dance auditions will be held both nights. Those with jazz and tap experience are asked to come to Tuesday night's audition if possible for a more extensive dance audition. Please wear comfortable clothes and appropriate dance shoes.
Age: 9th grade and up.
Please bring a head shot or a recent photo, if possible.
Rehearsals will be at the Town Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7-10 PM and on Sundays from 2-6 PM beginning January 16th. Performances are March 26th and 27th, and April 1st and 2nd, 2011.
