Un-Common To Offer a Six Week Tech Intern Workshop Program

The Un-Common Theatre Company is excited to offer a series of six Tech Intern Workshops. This workshop series will be taught by Un-Common Alumni and experienced Techie Val Bedsole who also holds a degree in Theatre with a Tech concentration from Salem State University. Anyone who is interested in learning more about what goes on behind the scenes of a production is encouraged to join us and experience the excitement of being part of the technical crew.
Participants will learn basic skills in the following areas: Set Design and BuildingLighting Design and Light HangingSound Design and Board OperationStage ManagementProduction ManagementCostume Designand much more!!Learn to work as a team and have the opportunity to use these new skills while teching for Un-Common's upcoming production of "Spring Awakening" and future shows. (Please note that tech workshop participants are not guaranteed a spot on the Spring Awakening Tech Crew and will be chosen by the Production Manager.)Wednesdays June 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 & Wednesday, July 6. All classes will be from 7 - 9pm.
