The Kerry Jon Walker Fund (KJWF), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping humanity and supporting those affected by poverty, presents a family-fun benefit Kid's Fair, on Saturday, April 28, from 2 to 4 pm, at The Cushing Center, 673 Main Street, Norwell. All proceed support the fund's mission, including mission service trips for teens supporting sustainable programs to improve health, education, and economic opportunity for those in need.

Come one, come all to enjoy a celebration of all things fun and family! Kid's Fair offers family entertainment, creative crafts, face painting, a safari photo booth and more! At 2 pm, experience a Music Together sing-along with Jennie Mulqueen and Jana Kahn. At 2:30 pm, enjoy a magic show with Malik the Magic Guy. At 3:00 pm, The Spirit of Africa offers a West African Drum and Dance performance. At 3:30 pm, Eddie 'Spaghetti' Sorrentino encourages kids to make their own instrument, and then shake it with the All Kid Shaker Egg Band! Cupcakes are provide by Sadie Mae's Cupcakes.

KJWF provides financially challenged urban teen students the opportunity to create global objectivity and travel abroad in charitable service. Last summer alone, KJWF sponsored five Boston students on a fifth mission trip to Rwanda, where they served 500 orphaned teens at the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village. While providing service to this community abroad, the Boston teens, most never having never traveled out of the country, gained a new understanding of the developing world.

Founded in 2010, enhancing the education of youth is at the heart of The Kerry Jon Walker Fund's mission. Amongst its accomplishments, KJWF provided 3000 lbs. of books, maps and educational materials, as well as school uniforms, to village schools in Guinea, West Africa. The community ranks amongst the poorest in the world, home to the region's most deprived children.

Admission to the Kid's Fair is $10 for children under 12, adults attend for free, payable at the door. Admission fee may be paid for by cash or check on site. To learn more or support the Kerry Jon Walker Fund, email mikey@thekerryfund.org, or visit www.thekerryfund.org.
