Riverside Theatre Works Presents OUR TOWN 10/28-11/13

By:

Riverside Theatre Works presents Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN from October 28th through November 13th.

Seventy-three years after its premiere at the Wilbur, it is back in Boston---this time in our very own town of Hyde Park. Winner of the 1938 Pulitzer Prize, Our Town is a timeless classic full of heart about what it means to be a community. Set in a fictional town that exists only in our theatre, Wilder's drama tells the story of George and Emily, their families, friends, and neighbors. Audience members, are there not only to witness these events unfold, but to become vibrant members of the Grover's Corners community. The presence of the audience makes the play possible. Exploring the magic of theatre and the magic of our very own lives, Our Town is a play for everyone, and this production, guided with a contemporary eye, promises to be just as relevant and meaningful as when the curtain first rose is 1938.

OUR TOWN is directed by Jason E. Weber.
