Photo Flash: First Look at Gloucester Stage's 9 CIRCLES

Gloucester Stage continues the 2012 season with Bill Cain's powerful 9 Circles in a special two limited run through August 26 in the air-conditioned comfort of Gloucester Stage Company at 267 East Main St., Gloucester, MA. Directed by Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Eric C. Engel, 9 Circles is a raw, emotionally charged quest for salvation set against the backdrop of war. A psychological thriller based on actual events, 9 Circles tells the story of a young American soldier on trial for his life. The production contains graphic language and brief nudity. The production directed by Engel was originally presented by Boston's Publick Theatre in 2011. Engel has reunited the cast from the Publick Theatre production, Jimi Stanton, Will McGarrahan and Amanda Collins to recreate their critically acclaimed roles at Gloucester Stage.
The performance schedule for 9 Circles is Wednesday, August 22 through Saturday, August 25 at 8 pm; Saturday matinees on August 25 at 3 pm and Sunday performances on
August 26 at 4 pm. A limited amount of discount tickets are available to Cape Ann residents for all Wednesday and Thursday 8 pm performances. For these performances only,
Cape Ann residents can purchase discounted tickets for $20. Advance reservations are strongly suggested to ensure tickets at the discounted price. Year round Cape Ann residents must identify themselves as Cape Ann residents when making a reservation and proof of residency must be presented at the box office the night of the performance. Stage is handicapped accessible. Ticket prices are $40 for all performances. Senior citizen & student tickets are $35 for all performances. For reservations or further information, call the
