Fiddlehead Theatre Adds THE LITTLE MERMAID Matinees

Fiddlehead Theatre Company announces the addition of 2 matinee performances during the company's production of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID from November 27-December 6, 2015 at the Strand Theatre (543 Columbia Rd, Dorchester, MA 02125). This delightful fable about a young mermaid chasing her dreams will enchant audiences of all ages.

Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID will run for 9 performances - REVISED PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS: Friday, November 27th at 8:00 PMSaturday, Nov 28th at 2:00 PMSaturday, Nov 28th at 8:00 PMSunday, Nov 29th at 2:00 PMThursday, Dec 3rd at 7:30 PMFriday, Dec 4th at 8:00 PMSaturday, Dec 5th at 2:00 PMSaturday, Dec 5th at 8:00 PMSunday, Dec 6th at 2:00 PM.

Fiddlehead Theatre is offering free transportation to and from the Fairmont Copley Plaza to The Strand Theatre for ticket holders on Old Town Trolley! Patrons can reserve a spot on the trolley by calling the box office at 617-514-6497; limited seating -- reservations are required. The trolley will pick up and drop off from the Trinity Place side of the hotel at the following times during the run of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID: Thursday performance at 6:00 and 6:15 pm; evening performances at 7:00 and 7:15 pm; and matinee performances at 1:00 and 1:15 pm.

Fiddlehead's most ambitious season ever will continue with the hit Broadway sensation RENT (20th Anniversary Celebration) from February 5-21, 2016, and the timeless classic Show Boat, Spring 2016.

THE LITTLE MERMAID is based on the tale by Danish author Hans Christian Anderson, originally published in 1836. Book by Doug Wright, Music by Alan Menken, and Lyrics by Glenn Slater & Howard Ashman. Originally directed by Francesca Zambello and Sierra Boggess. Produced by Disney Theatrical with President Thomas Schumacher.
