Elizabeth Hess Assists W/ The Notorious Brunch Benefit 5/3

By:

Actress Elizabeth Hess (Clarissa Explains it All For You) has graciously committed to assisting with Theatre Project's May 3rd Fundraiser "The Notorious Brunch" during the run of her one-woman show, Living Openly and Notoriously. "Venues like Theater Project are so vital and necessary because they encourage both artists and audiences to embrace the human condition. By being receptive to unique and fearless artistic visions, venues like Theater Project can lead to transformative experiences even as they dazzle and entertain. Creating an atmosphere that is alive and heart felt is not only courageous and compelling, it also draws us together in awareness and awe." says Hess. Guests will have the opportunity to dine with Ms. Hess prior to part three of her trilogy and she will also judge the "most notoriously dressed" competition. The brunch will start at 12:30 and the performance begins at 3:00pm. Soup's On of Preston Street will provide the catering. Tickets are $40. Reservations can be made by calling Theatre Project at 410 727 8558.

What is Notorious?
We decided to ask some of Baltimore's citizens to help us out by submitting 100 words or less about Baltimore's Most Notorious Resident - past or present. After nominations and voting, we will award one individual a pair of tickets to the fundraiser. Please give us your thoughts on The Most Notorious Baltimorean and send them to office@theatreproject.org.

Theatre Project is delighted to combine its spring fundraiser brunch and silent auction with a performance by renowned actress of stage and screen, Elizabeth Hess on May 3rd. Ms. Hess, who was raised in a Mennonite community in Canada, will be performing three one-act hour long, solo shows, each of which traces a distinct period in The Life of a Mennonite girl who grows into a modern woman from April 30 - May 10. Go to www.theatreproject.org for full run information.
