Electric Youth will appear in concert on Sunday, February 28th at 6:30 p.m. at Showcase Live, one of New England's most exciting entertainment venues located next to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and a full menu of food and beverages will be available before and during the show. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Showcase Live Box Office, or they may be purchased by telephone or in person at The Spotlight Shop, 34 Main Street in Franklin, 508-528-2887.

Electric Youth is a professional ensemble of dynamic young singer dancers accompanied by an eight-piece band of well-known Boston based musicians. The Showcase Live performance will include two sets of fully staged and choreographed selections from all genres of pop music and contemporary Broadway. Electric Youth's extensive repertoire includes hits of Daughtry, Aerosmith, Queen, The Beatles, Journey, Christina Aguilera, and music from Broadway's Hairspray, The Wild Party, Footloose and Billy Elliot.

Electric Youth features Meghan Dean, 16, Jill Gleason, 17, Galen Hancock, 16, Catherine Weiss, 16, Matt Duhamel, 17, Ali Funkhouser, 13 and Kerryn Reeve, 16 all of Franklin; Michael Egan, 16 of Hopkinton; Corinne Falotico, 16 and Callie Liljeberg, 16 of Wrentham; Jacquie Hurley, 18 of North Attleboro; Ali McCurdy, 17 and Erica McLaughlin, 15 of Medfield; Katie Ryan, 16 and Dan Harcourt, 17 of Millville; Emily Harrington, 14 of Norfolk; Samantha Terranova, 15 of Medway and Samantha Vita, 13 of Mansfield. The band includes director and pianist Raye Lynn Mercer, drummer Kenny Hadley, Mark White on guitar, Mark Poniatowski on bass, Walter Platt on trumpet, Jeff Hoyer on trombone, Ken Reid on baritone saxophone and Arnie Krakowsky on tenor saxophone.

Electric Youth's Showcase Live performance is one of a few local shows before the group embarks on a month-long European concert tour departing on June 18th. Beginning in Vienna, the tour includes shows throughout Austria, Slovenia and Italy and includes a Fourth of July show for the U. S. troops and families stationed at Aviano Air Force Base. Past tours have included performances at Vienna's Konzerthaus, Musikverein and Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna and in Italy, San Remo's Ariston Theater, Villa Manin and Lake Como.
