"Eddie and the Palaceades", is an all-original musical by Roy O'Neil (book and lyrics) and Stephen Feigenbaum (music). The show got its start in the New York City festival scene. It was first performed in 2013 at The First Act Feedback Festival sponsored by TRU and Musicalwriters.com. Later in 2013, it appeared in the Manhattan Theater Mission's New Musicals Showcase where it was honored as "Audience Favorite". In 2014, it ran at the June Havoc Theater as part of the Midtown International Theater Festival coming away with great reviews. (Mary Ann Randazzo @ OuterStage.com "UNQUESTIONABLY TWO HOURS OF PURE ENJOYMENT") Most recently, in 2016 the show received a Directors' Choice Award from MainStreet Musicals.

"Eddie and the Palaceades" is the story of a rock band from the 60s who opened for the Beatles and then gave up their musical dreams to raise their kids. The show opens 30 years later when they are empty nesters looking to write the next chapter in their lives. The hook line for the show is "You're only young once, but the music lasts forever".

The show is still in development and looks to benefit from the workshop format. Cameron has assembled a cast of experienced local talent for the production including Peter Cook as Eddie Doyle, Sonia Schonning as Gracie Doyle, Rob Minshall as Vinny Moriarty, the original Palaceades. Grace Kennedy plays daughter Mary Doyle and Dan McSweeny plays Ryan Moriarty, Vinny's son. Alex Valentine is featured as Mayor Biggie Williams; Sheila Furtado is featured as Mama Cerelli; and Meredith Richter plays Roz Sherwood. Bobby Genereau, Chris Hatch and Tom Pucci are members of the Board of Aldermen.

There will be three performances over two days with audience feedback and discussion following evening performances and some input and advice to the creative team from experienced area theater pros at the Saturday matinee. During the week leading up to the performances, the writers will have a chance to interact with actors and directors and be given the opportunity to make adjustments to the script.
