DEADWOOD DICK OR, THE GAME OF GOLD Opens at Barnstable Comedy Club Tonight

By:

The Barnstable Comedy Club located at 3171 Rte. 6A in Barnstable Village presents DEADWOOD DICK or, The Game of Gold! by Tom Taggart (Based on the Dime Novels of Edward L. Wheeler).

John Watters directs this rootin' tootin' Western melodrama which opens tonight, May 9 at 8:00 PM and continues through May 26 with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM and Sunday matinees at 2:30 PM.

Ripped from the pages of the bloodthirsty dime novels popular at the end of the 1800's Deadwood Dick, or The Game of Gold is tongue-in-cheek rootin' tootin' Western melodrama set in Calamity Jane's Man Trap Saloon in the Black of Hills of South Dakota. Black hats, white hats, dancing girls and thirsty minors keep the audience booing the bad guys and cheering the heroes, but best of all laughing their way from beginning to end in this infectiously fun play.

Tickets are $18 / $16 for seniors 62+ and students. Reservations may be made by calling the box office at 508-362-6333. For more information, visit www.BarnstableComedyClub.com.
