Cotuit Center Presents 9th Poetry & Chili Festival 3/14

Cotuit Center for the Arts, located at 4404 Falmouth Road (Rte. 28) in Cotuit presents its' 9th Annual Poetry & Chili Festival on Saturday, March 14 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. The evening includes a poetry slam featuring amateur and professional poets, a chili and cornbread cook-off, live music and more. The poetry contest is open to anyone who wants to get up and slam -- bring 3 poems, come early. To register your chili or cornbread for the contest, call 508-428-0669. Tickets are $15, $12 for members/seniors, $10 students and are available at the door or may be purchased online at www.CotuitCenterForTheArts.org.
The featured poets include Jarita Davis, Joe Gouveia, Christine Rathbun, Greg Hischak, Bobby Miller, Philip Hasouris and more. Information about each of the scheduled poets may be found at the CCftA website.http://www.CotuitCenterForTheArts.org
