Cormac McCarthy's THE SUNSET LIMITED to Play New Century Theatre, 6/27-7/6

Could it be that a chance encounter between two strangers, and the conversation that ensues, can change the course of one man's life? New Century Theatre tackles this question, plus issues of philosophy, religion, life and death in the second production of their 23rd season. In Cormac McCarthy's THE SUNSET LIMITED, he has crafted a captivating conversation between two strangers as they become more invested in each other lives. On stage from June 27 through July 6, you will not want to miss this electrifying play penned by one of America's premiere novelists.

Author of NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and THE ROAD, Cormac McCarthy is known for his lyrical use of language and plot, has been named by famed literary critic Harold Bloom as one of the four major American novelists of his time. McCarthy has won the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award, as well as having many of his novels adapted into award winning motion pictures. THE SUNSET LIMITED is one of two plays written by McCarthy, and its genius matches McCarthy's signature gothic style.
