George and Doris are married, but not to each other. After a passionate chance meeting, the two decide to meet once a year to rekindle their relationship. Encompassing twenty five years of reunions, manners and morals, Tony Nominated and Drama Desk Winning, Same Time, Next Year is a hilarious and touching look at unconventional love and changing times.

"These two people are involved in a relationship that means something profound to each one of them," said Kate Maguire, Artistic Director and CEO at Berkshire Theatre Group. "They realize, especially in the beginning, that they shouldn't be having this relationship but respond to something in each other and need one another. Each of them faces social upheaval and brings that each time they meet. So, the changes that they go through and how marriage has evolved is all within this piece. It's wonderful, endearing and funny."

The cast includes David Adkins as George and Corinna May as Doris. This is Adkin's 19th season with BTG and May's 3rd season.

With scenic design by Randall Parsons, costume design by Charles Schoonmaker, lighting design by Paul Hackenmueller and sound design by J Hagenbuckle.
