BTG Announces New $10 Music Garage Series Presenting Emerging Musicians and Regional Talent

Berkshire Theatre Group announces a brand new series, the $10 Music Garage. This series is devoted to presenting emerging musicians and regional talent. The first installment will feature dream-pop band, Arc Iris, with special guest, the North Adams, MA based band, Francesca Shanks. This event is scheduled for Friday, April 28 at 8pm at The Garage (111 South Street, Pittsfield, MA). This event is presented in collaboration with Common Folk Artist Collective.

Tickets to Music Garage Series: Arc Iris are $10. Contact the Colonial Ticket Office at 111 South Street, Pittsfield by calling 413-997-4444. Tickets can also be bought online at www.berkshiretheatregroup.org. The Ticket Office is open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday's 10am-2pm or on any performance day from 10am until curtain.

Common Folk's mission is to inspire creativity, strengthen local and emerging artistry, and make a healthy impact on our community.

Arc Iris has attracted fans from across the world, as well as critical attention from NPR, The New York Times and Rolling Stone for their charismatic stage performances, and lyric and melody-based, experimental dream-pop. Through their diverse influences, singer, Jocie Adams, keyboardist, Zach Tenorio-Miller and drummer, Ray Belli find avenues for producing a blend of soul-satisfying sounds that are truly their own. The band is coming off of an international tour for their second album, Moon Saloon, released last fall.

North Adams based band, Francesca Shanks is comprised of Francesca Shanks on the ukulele and Joe Aidonidis on the keys and drums.
