Cape Playhouse ANNOUNCES: AUDITIONS THURSDAY, JUNE 23

11:00 AM - MODERN THEATER at SUFFOLK UNIVERSITY, 525 WASHINGTON ST., BOSTON, MA
7:00 PM - Cape Playhouse, NICKERSON REHEARSAL HALL , 820 ROUTE 6A, DENNIS, MA

The Cape Playhouse, seeking NON-EQUITY ACTORS WHO SING WELL for their upcoming production of FOOTLOOSE to be shared with the North Shore Music Theatre. Mark Martino, Director, Vince Pesce, Choreographer, Eric Alsford, Music Director.

REHEARSALS:
In New York City, July 11 - July 23 (Must provide own housing)

PERFORMANCES:
At the Cape Playhouse, Cape Cod... July 25 - August 6 (Housing can be discussed.)
At the North Shore Music Theatre... August 9 - August 28 (Housing can be discussed.)
PLEASE NOTE: You must be available for all rehearsals and performances.

AVAILABLE ROLES:
Coach Dunbar: Age 30-50, the Quintessential Mid-American Coach, a "guys" guy. Expects things to be done his way, with little patience if they aren't.

Eleanor Dunbar: Age 30-50, Coach's wife. Most comfortable with an apRon Cooking in the kitchen, happy to keep his dinner warm. Has her own personality, but has been raised to suppress it in favor of matrimonial bliss.

Principal Clark: Age 30-50s, Conservative, old school, prefers the "lockstep" method of teaching... everything and everyone exactly the same.

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:
You will be seen on a first come first serve basis. All roles should be strong singers, with dancing ability a plus. Bring a representative monologue and traditional Broadway song. Headshot / resume preferred.
