Mr. Pim is an unassuming fellow who some how manages to cause trouble in this amusing farce. There is of course a beautiful young ward who wants to marry a man her guardian objects to. They must appeal is his charming wife for help. The scenes with the husband and wife are wonderful. Their old-fashioned chemistry is a delight to watch. Mr. Pim must then deliver the news that Olivia's ex-husband, the one everyone thought had died in Australia many years ago, is very much alive. Is Olivia a bigamist? Are they living in sin? Since this is a farce you can be assured everything will turn out all right in the end.
