By: Jul. 18, 2014

Tickets are now on sale for CYT-North Idaho's 3rd Annual CCT Summer show, Oliver! Sixty seven local adult and children actors are busy in rehearsal for this beloved, Tony award winning musical. Whether it is your first time or your umpteenth time, to see it, you'll delight in all of the engaging characters from this family favorite: The Artful Dodger, Fagin, the menacing Bill Sykes, the kind-hearted Nancy, and, of course, Oliver. This zestful show, set in 19th century England, is about a courageous young boy from the workhouses who, despite his struggles with poverty, mistreatment and lawbreaking companions, remains sweet and virtuous. Based on Charles Dicken's "Oliver Twist," this show is the total family entertainment package.

Dates and times are: today, July 18 and July 19, 25, & 26 at 7 p.m. and July 19, 20, 16 & 27 at 3 p.m.

Performances are at the University High School Theatre, 12420 32nd Ave, Spokane Valley. Ticket prices range from $8-$14. Tickets can be purchased online at cytnorthidaho.org or by calling the Box Office at: (208) 277-5727. All tickets will be $2 more at the door.
