Registration Is Now Open for CYT-North Idaho's Winter Session of Theater Arts Classes

Registration is now open for Christian Youth Theater-North Idaho's (CYT-North Idaho's) winter session of classes Jan 7th & 9th. Classes will meet at the CYT-North Idaho Campus at 2775 Howard Street, Suite 7, Coeur d' Alene, every Tuesday from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. or every Thursday from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. for ten weeks. CYT-North Idaho welcomes children ages 6-18 years to participate in classes. Courses offered this session include: Our Gang - Technicolor Kids, an Intro to Theater Class for 6 & 7 year olds, Drama 101, Dance 101, Voice 101, and a variety of specialty classes including: Basic Costuming, Square 2 (mainstream square dancing), Pace, Pick Up and Punching (learn about timing and making the most out of using the playwright's written text), and Take a Chill Pill (learn the art of concentration and relaxation in theater). All students will perform in Showcase at the end of the session with their respective class at the Kroc Community Theater on Mar 11. In addition to classes, all students ages 8-18 are eligible to audition for the fall show, Broadway's, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Registration for classes and the purchasing of tickets can also be done online at the website and students can register the first day or second day of classes at the CYT-North Idaho Campus. Tuition runs $150-$175 for 22 hours of instruction and the end of session Showcase. Save $25 off your registration buy taking advantage of our early bird discount good through Dec 26. CYT is a non-profit after-school theater arts training program for studentsages 6-18. Since it's inception in 1981, CYT has grown to be the largest youth theater in the nation. CYT-North Idaho opened with summer camp in July 2007.
