BYE BYE BIRDIE Comes To Lake City Playhouse Through 6/3
By: Karen Stahl
BYE BYE BIRDIE opened at Lake City Playhouse on May 11 and is running until June 3.
The show tells the story of teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie. He's been drafted, so he chooses All-American girl Kim MacAfee for a very public farewell kiss. A loving send-up of the early 1960s, small-town America, teenagers and rock and roll, BYE BYE BIRDIE is a fun and rockin' show for families.
Lake City Playhouse is producing this production and is a non-profit community theatre company.
