Mine would have to be Phantom of the Opera. I thought it was "ok" at the time, but I appreciate it a bit more now. I think it was because I was in like the last row of the mezz so I couldn't see anything but the chandelier falling...
My first show ever was Cats on the national tour, i was so little i had to sit on my knees the whole time, but our seats were like third row! My first Broadway Show was Damn Yankees with Bebe Newirth...it ended up being the first musical i acted in too!
And I'm jealous of you, Dollypop. High Spirits! Fun show to start with...although you must have made your first encounter with TWHM not long thereafter...

Peter Pan. I was five and I wouldn't leave me seat during intermission because I thought Captain Hook would take it even though I had to go to the bathroom very badly.
My father was an auto mechanic and had a customer who was somehow involved with the TV show "That Was The Week That Was". TWHM was causing quite a stir even before it opened due to Louie Armstrong's recording of the title tune. Through his customer, Dad was able to get me and my mother third row orchestra seats for the Opening Night of TWHM (Jan 16, 1964). The rest is history.
