I understand. “Somewhere, Someplace, Sometime” was rewritten as “Dreams Never Run On Time” correct?

Why did they cut it? That's like performing Cats without "Memory".

Listen, I don't take my clothes off for anyone, even if it is "artistic". - JANICE

“Unexpected Song” hasn’t always been part of Tell Me On A Sunday. It wasn’t on the original Marti Webb album or her 1980 BBC television broadcast. In the original London production of Song & Dance the melody was used only at the end of the act two Variations at that point titled “When You Want to Fall in Love.” By the time Sarah Brightman took over, “Unexpected Song” had been written and placed in act one, and of course Bernadette Peters sang it in the Broadway production and on the Tony Awards. Most subsequent one act productions and tours of Tell Me On A Sunday as a stand-alone piece have included “Unexpected Song” with the notable exception of the 2014 production and BBC Radio broadcast in which Marti Webb recreated her original role. In that production they mostly reverted back to the songs as they were on the original album but still kept “The Last Man in My Life,” a third letter home and an added reprise of “Take That Look Off Your Face” for the finale. None of those songs were included on her original album.
