Hey guys,
Sorry for the board shilling but it's entirely personal, so hey, I figure, why not? That dang overhyped RobbieJ does it all the time (love ya, babe!).
After much muttering and kicking and screaming, I'm performing for free. It's such a happy day in my life.
Fortunately, it's a show I'm REALLY enjoying: a quality show, with quality writing in the book, lyrics and score departments, a wonderfully talented cast...and buttless chaps.
Which you won't see me in (breahe a sigh of relief now).

It's a fantastically funny and sarcastic little "What if" on the premise of legalizing same-sex marriage (of course) and a town rocked when said legalization turns everyone gay overnight.
Tickets for Fringe shows go on sale on July 30th and I hope to see some of you there!

"The Day The World Went QUEER!" is being presented as a part of the New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), A Production of The Present Company. Our production will take place at The Players Theatre at 115 MacDougal (just below West 3rd St.)

The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.

unfortunately, I do not wear buttless chaps. However, a pal of mine who is playing my father (yes, he is a full one year older than me in reality) DOES wear buttless chaps...and I have a HOT guy who plays my boyfriend in the show...you'll see him in various states of undress, which should be ample reason to go.

I would like to thank bwaysinger and RobbieJ for giving me reason to have a social life in the heat of the summer. I wouldn't miss either of your shows for anything...well, at least not for anything more minor than a dental catastrophe, that is.

Seriously, though, the show's a fantastically fun little romp with humor (of the dirty kind) and a surprising amount of heart.
I just finished rehearsing a nice little tear-jerker of a sweet duet (boy on boy, of course) and now I'm sitting here at the computer while a rather funny and raunchy song is going on in the rehearsal room. It's good times, I tells ya!
