Tommy Bracco on Big Brother  Jun 20 2019, 07:37:24 AM

Past contestants have mentioned before that producers tell them, before they take their phones and such, to go in an make all their social media private because as soon as casts are announced, people go looking to pull stuff up about them. Not

Take Me Out Revival!  Jun 3 2019, 11:38:29 PM
I totally missed this news when it was first announced, but count me among those excited! I saw this in SF on my 21st birthday, it was the first piece of professional life theater I ever saw and despite the awkwardness of watching it while sitting next to my parents, it’ll always hold a special place in my heart.
Shoshana Bean In Waitress  May 5 2019, 06:31:45 PM

Dkinny23 said: "I know this is a Shoshana thread, but was curious how Noah Galvin has been in his role in Waitress? I know there was some concern about how young he looks to play his character. People finding it distracting/unrealistic or does he end up portraying his character realistic/well? I really like him as an actor and curious to see his performance. Will probably try to see it this week.

Upcoming Waitress cast replacements?  May 1 2019, 02:55:59 AM
Ok, so I have to admit, I was one of the Many who was confused by and very unsure of Noah’s casting as Ogie, but let me just say, after seeing the show tonight, he NAILED IT. he was absolutely fantastic, and he and Caitlin were absolutely adorable together. Nothing felt off or awkward when it came to his age or how young he looked. It all worked perfectly and he was delightfully nerdy and hilarious. I went in skeptical, but with an open mind to give him a chance and ended up LOVING his performan
Jeremy Jordan Joins the Cast of WAITRESS  Apr 6 2019, 05:50:00 AM

Judging by this video, I don’t think chemistry between the two will be an issue.

Falsettos National Tour  Mar 26 2019, 02:34:51 AM
Just saw the cast perform at Feinstein’s at the Nikko Hotel tonight in a concert to benefit BC/EFA and wow, what a stellar cast! I knew they were good already, but what a fun, and incredible concert tonight. I can’t wait to see them all in the actual show next month.
Longest Original Cast Members?  Mar 16 2019, 12:26:10 AM

I know Courntey Reed was with Aladdin since the first out of town town tryout back in 2011, until she left last year, so almost 7 years for her.

I do always wonder about actors who stay with a show/part so long. I always wonder what helps keep it fresh for that long.

Hamilton San Francisco  Feb 20 2019, 08:16:59 AM

So, I got an email about Friday night's show. There was a quick vague description about the incident (they are steering clear of mentioning what people thought was happening), and then followed up with an invite to attend another performance, of my choosing any day from now until Sept 8th (the current date they're selling tickets til).

I knew they were planning on doing this from their previous statement, but a) I wasn't sure as a $10 Lotto winner, I would be included. b) I

Hamilton San Francisco  Feb 16 2019, 01:44:59 PM
as far as I am aware, people were only being let back inside to grab their things. (people left purses and other things on the floor in their effort to get out). I don’t think they finished the show and honestly, I can’t see how anyone could have sat back down and watched like it was normal after that, and also, just given how scary it was, I wouldn’t have wanted the cast to have to get back up there like they were unphased. A lot of the cast commented on social media about it and they were clea

I am very sorry about your experience, and those others have recounted.

I never heard someone yell gun like others are reporting, but I did hear the persistent screaming. When i

Hamilton San Francisco  Feb 16 2019, 11:12:21 AM

So i was there last night and I think people keep assuming the gunshot on stage must be what set people off, but the timing is not correct for that.

I was sitting in the front row, Hamilton was already dead, Burr had already stated that he was villain in the story now, and we were onto the last couple minutes of the show with jefferson giving credit to hamilton’s work. I could hear screaming over the top of the performance at that point and my first instinct was that it

RENT Live on Fox  Jan 28 2019, 04:39:14 AM

watching all the fox and audience clips of what was actually performed tonight really made me wish they just aired it as it was performed, because I instantly felt like it was more in line with the spirit of rent than what we saw actually aired. when you take the history of the show into account, it would have actually been poetic to have this live show follow in the original's foot steps of doing a quasi concert performance. all the video clips on twitter feel so raw and pure, and they h

Soft Power  May 10 2018, 02:29:33 AM

I was planning on going when it gets to SF, just for Conrad, because I adore him, but I also can't help but loving hot messes that you want to root for, and whatever it says about me, this sounds like one I'll enjoy. (Honestly, I'm just easier to please than most and not overly picky. I can recognize flaws but easily look beyond them)

Did Courtney Reed have a cold when recording the Aladdin OBCR?  Apr 20 2018, 06:38:03 AM

I adore Courtney, but sadly that's just how she sounds. I wanted to give her benefit of the doubt when I saw the show, hoping the cast recording was just not produced well (because honestly, overall, that recording was a major let down for me. Its one of the weakest ones I've ever heard overall), but that was exactly what she sounded like live.

HEAD OVER HEELS at the Curran - Reviews  Apr 20 2018, 05:20:58 AM

I was finally able to see the show tonight, and the short of it is that I really loved it! I found it incredible enjoyable with infectious energy, humor that had me laughing from beginning to end,  performances that I thought were almost all standouts, and quite honestly raised the material they were performing, and endless fun, especially at a time in life where I needed a break from the real world.

The long of it, this show is flawed as others have said, it needs a lot of wo

This makes me happy to hear! Wasn’t able to go tonight, too much aldulting to do, but aim hoping to go Thursday night or friday night, if not, early next week.
HEAD OVER HEELS  Apr 9 2018, 01:54:52 AM

The rush tickets for this are only $15 so I'm going to try and hit the First Preview since I'm off. if I like it enough, it's cheap enough that I can catch it at least one more time. I'm very curious about this one. I feel like it can go either way

Albums that should be made into Musicals  Sep 6 2017, 10:56:58 PM

Not necessarily an album, but I think Pink has some songs that could be fantastic in a musical. Either that or I'd like to see her write songs for a show. She's fantastic at telling stories in song.
