Join us for 'Sanders Family Christmas' book by Connie Ray, conceived by Alan Bailey, musical arrangements by John Foley and Gary Fagan, produced by special arrangement with Samuel French.
'Sanders Family Christmas' is the sequel to the acclaimed 'Smoke on the Mountian'. The story follows the Sanders Family, a family group of folk gospel singers in North Carolina. Based three years after 'Smoke' on Dec 24, 1941, just eighteen days after FDR's declaration of war, the Sanders Family return to Mt Pleasant Baptist Church for their final performance before the war forces the group to disband. This show will make you laugh, cry, and tap your feet with wonderful renditions of well known Mountain Christmas Music.
