Find love and laughter at the Depot Theatre! The River Region's oldest community theatre is kicking off their 35th Anniversary Season with a musical sure to warm the hearts of area theatre lovers. Opening January 29 and running through February 14,I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a crowd pleaser that gives Cupid a run for his money.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit! This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the beginning of romance, to those who have dared to ask, 'Say, what are you doing Saturday night?' This perfect relationship musical ran for more than 5,000 performances Off-Broadway and has kept audiences laughing from with stories that range from dating to Depends!

Director Kristy Meanor, Depot executive director, has been a fan of the show for years. "This charming musical has been on my radar for awhile now and seemed the perfect way to kick off our 35th Anniversary Season. Our Depot history has been built on the love and support of our audiences all these years, so a musical celebrating love and relationships seemed to be the perfect way to launch our next 35 years."

The show features a small but talented ensemble. "Each actor plays a variety of roles in this show, so we worked hard to cast a group that could pull off all of those different characters," said Meanor. With musical direction by Marilyn Swears and choreography by Daren Eastwold, the cast features, Brooke Brown, Alicia Ruth Jackson, Adrian Borden , Andrea Barclay, David Brown, Morgan Baker, Joe Collins and Matthew Walter. Featuring comic numbers like "Stud and a Babe" and "Always a Bridesmaid", the show also highlights poignant and humorous aspects about raising children and the empty nest.

Show dates are January 29-31, February 5-7. 12-14 at 7:30pm and February 8 at 2pm Tickets may be purchased by calling 334.868.1440 or visiting wetumpkadepot.com Box office hours are Wednesday through Friday 9am-3pm. The theatre is located at 300 S Main St in historic downtown Wetumpka.
