THE WIZARD OF OZ Comes To Gilbert And Sullivan Society Of Bermuda 10/14

The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Bermuda produces THE WIZARD OF OZ, running until Oct. 14.

This is a much loved musical, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home. The musical has been entertaining audiences for generations.

This production features such well known songs as "Over The Rainbow", "Munchkinland [Ding Dong The Witch is Dead", "If I Only Had A Brain/A Heart/The Nerve", "We're Off To See The Wizard [Follow The Yellow Brick Road]", "The Jitterbug" and "The Merry Old Land of Oz", plus a few new songs.

The production will give the audience the opportunity of seeing what promises to be an outstanding set, designed by Cleo Pettitt. Cleo has designed sets for such G&S shows as Pirates of Penzance, South Pacific, Jesus Christ Superstar and Oliver! She has been challenged to ensure The Yellow Brick Road leads to a successful and memorable show.
