HAMLET at the Theatre Royal du Parc in Brussels will open on September 14 and run until October 21. HAMLET is one of Shakespeare's most popular plays, and was believed to be written sometime between 1599 and 1602.

A tragedy that takes place in Denmark, HAMLET and follows the story prince Hamlet. He is called upon by the ghost of his father to seek revenge on his uncle, Claudius, who killed his own brother to take the throne and married his brother's widow, Hamlet's mother.

Believed to be one of Shakespeare's most influential plays, HAMLET is currently playing Off-Broadway at The Public Theatre in New York City, and was recently performed at the National Theatre Live in London with Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role.

The cast of this production of HAMLET includes Hisik Elbaz, Anouchka Vingtier, Jo Deseure, Serge Demoulin, FabIan Finkels, Christian Crahay, Adrien Letartre, Camille Pistone, Valentin Vanstechelman, Baptiste DENUIT, Jonas Jans, Amandine Jongen, and Coralie Scauflaire.

The production is directed by Thierry Debroux and assistant directed by Catherine Couchard, with choreography by Grazielle Furtado and Jaques Cappelle, scenography by Vincent Bresmal, costume design by Sarah Duvert and Bea Pendesini, costume creation and realization by Anne Guilleray, lights by Laurent Kaye, sound design by David Lempereur, paintings and sculptures by Genevieve Periat, videos by Allan Beurms, and make-up creation by Bouzouk.
