The Suburban Players Seek Actors for GEORGE M!, 11/5 & 7

The Suburban Players will hold auditions for their 37th annual dinner theatre production. This year, the group will presenting the musical comedy "George M!" featuring Gary Dieter in the title role. Auditions are being held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Monday, November 7, 2011 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2504 Cub Hill Road in the Carney area of Baltimore County. No appointment is necessary.

Auditioners should come prepared with a song (bring sheet music) and be dressed for a dance audition. An accompanist will be provided. You may also be asked to read from the script. As noted above, the part of George M. Cohan has been cast. All other roles (20+ speaking/singing/dancing roles of various sizes) including a large chorus are open for men and women ages 16 and older.

John Desmone directs, Sally Tarr is the musical director, and Debbie Goetzinger choreographs. The show will run for two weekends and will be performed in the new Hermes Center on the church campus beginning February 10, 2012. Questions? Call 410-823-4805.
