The Oooky and Kooky ADDAMS FAMILY Opens 10/3 at Milburn Stone Theatre
By: Anna Bencivengo
That lovable family that's creepy, kooky and all together spooky is back, starring in the brand new original musical, THE ADDAMS FAMILY. THE ADDAMS FAMILY features music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa (THE WILD PARTY, JOHN & JEN) and book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.
The Addams family, led by the elegantly gaunt and seemingly undead Morticia (Erika Bankard) and her ever-devoted husband Gomez (Ryan DeVoe), is in turmoil. Wednesday Addams (Lyndie Moe) falls in love with every father's nightmare, a "normal" boy (Codey Odachowski), and invites him and his parents over for dinner. Comic chaos will ensue on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's boyfriend and his parents including everything from an amorous giant squid to mixed-up potions to a scorching tango. The show also features Grant Bailey, Lance Bankard, Nance Weber, Ethan Paul Knettler, Rebekah Latshaw and Dane Hutchinson. THE ADDAMS FAMILY opens October 3rd, 2014 and runs October 4th, 5th, 10th, 11, & 12th, 2014 with showtimes at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 3pm on Sundays. THE ADDAMS FAMILY is recommended for audiences 13 and up due to content. Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for Students and Seniors.
